The Kleine Scheidegg / Männlichen ski resort is the largest in the Bernese Oberland and in the Jungfrau region. From Grindelwald, a cog railway leads up to the Kleine Scheidegg and a gondola lift leads up to the Männlichen.

Heimeli
The old wooden house from the 18th century is located in the Sapun valley, above Langwies near Arosa. The mountain inn offers a mixture of rustic comfort and rustic mountain charm far away from mass tourism.

Banff, Mt Rundle
Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline.

Minaki Panorama
First nations people have lived on the Winnipeg River in the Minaki area for a millennium or more, judging by the potshards and arrow points that turn up along the shores. The river was a major canoe route for the explorers and fur traders in the early days of white settlement. In the nineteenth century the Hudson's Bay Company had a trading post a couple of kilometres north of the present community.

The main building, which was not insured, burned to the ground in a spectacular fire in October 2003, and the resort has not operated since.
